Both involve smashing ...a bat smashing a baseball for a home run, and the smashing together of atoms & a smash hit on TV.

There is an explosion of enthusiasm that fills the air on Opening Day.

Another who shares the claim of once being an inner-city Detroit youth ...is Dr. Ben Carson.  In the prologue of his book, America the Beautiful, he says that as nations begins to decline, they all experience some peculiar similarities:
  • too much emphasis on sports and entertainment
  • a fixation on the rich and the famous
  • political corruption
  • loss of a moral compass

As you are enjoying the game, let it also be said, that in a later chapter, he brought attention to the incredible testimony of common goals and desires ...as the explosives racial tensions of 1967, brought harmony to Detroit the following year as the Tigers were about to win the World Series.

Now for the other big hit ...and the attraction to the intelligent lot.  Let me make clear the contrast between intelligent and wise.  Wisdom is the correct use of knowledge.  And I fail to see the correctness in the Big Bang Theory.  I admit that the show may be witty ...but the theory is rather dim.

Since baseball is at the forefront, let's use that analogy.  We will test the theory in our mind ....since there is no actual way to test this one, we have to somewhat reason it out.  Suppose we take a baseball and a bat, and place them in a vacuum (not a vacuum cleaner, we're talking outer space).  Now, I am giving you evolutionists an advantage from the actual theorized beginning ...because I'm giving you a bat that was at one time, actually alive, as a tree.   How many billions of years do you think it would take for that bat to become alive again?

I can see why people believed in evolution many years ago.  They used to believe in spontaneous generation ...thinking that a living organism could arise out of nonliving matter.  Back then, since they couldn't test sending a baseball bat into space, they could have buried it in the ground.  Sorry, even that once living bat would never sprout again as a tree.  Another tree's seed could sprout from under the bat ....or the bat could rot after a very long time, and insects could suddenly appear on the wood, but that actual bat would never again come alive. Unless, of course, it is Opening Day, and the bats come alive ...like what happened with Bryce Harper of the Nationals.

Evolutionist believe that everything just evolved ...but everything could not have. Even with their theory, at least one thing couldn't have evolved ...because what is there answer to what started it all? And that particular 'what' would have to be something, and that something couldn't be explained as to where that came from.

Kind of makes you wonder where their idea came from.  But, if you wonder enough, you can achieve the high standard of TV or movies ...where they actually find much success and popularity with dealing with subjects about a sort of spirit world.

Yes, they actually come closer than a significant number of scientists.  But, scientists don't all unanimously believe in the same thing.  Some scientists believe in a spirit world ...but, one not chaotic and unpredictable.  They believe in order, even with the disorder that we see ...that we ourselves enhance with our participation in it.

Evolutionists believe in a gradual progression. Yet, I believe in a rapid progression ...and I see evidence of it.  Here is some of the evidence of it:

We have the Hubble telescope peering about ...to gain knowledge of things we never knew.  But, we have other instruments to also show us things we could never see before.  We have ultrasounds ...where we can watch the actual life, and developmental stages of a baby.  If everyone could see that, would they not have a new perspective on the value of that life?  And maybe then, we wouldn't have progressed to accepting late-term abortions.  And then again, how many would accept the horrific act of crushing the newborn babies head as it emerges out of his or her mom's womb?  But, the progression doesn't stop there ...a lobbyists for Planned Parenthood is testifying to the lacking of her own conscience and that of all those she represents, with an option for post-birth abortion.

At what point do we call it murder?

Evolutionists are deceived ...so how can they help, but to deceive us along with them.

We were created, and we all have value.  If we believe we just evolved, it is such a hopeless picture ...and the progression will be only to more evil.   The evolutionist may think we came from the mire and mud ...that is not true.  But we most assuredly are heading to the mire and mud of our own stinking denial, if we don't change our course.  That change involves a complete change ...repentance.  And it can't be completed unless we turn to Jesus.

Psalm 40:2, reads, "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand."

Those are the words of a shepherd, who not only understands the lamb ...but a nature of trouble, and the way out of it.  This, David, was full of praises for God ...and he knew the truth, and the value in knowing it.
